Who We Are

City of Gamers is an independent group of gamers and game-makers fueled by the collaborative efforts of all sorts of creative individuals ranging from musicians and artists to developers and designers. Each individual believes that creators and gamers should be one-in-the-same. COG was born from the passion of several students attending Full Sail University and has grown to be an international collective. The founding members were drawn together through shared passions for gaming, art, and solving issues they saw at the industry’s core.

What We Do

We’re the creators and gamers solving problems in the gaming industry by implementing solutions from the bottom up. We build development applications and tools, and organize peer-reviewed publications in the aim of pushing the industry forward. We champion diversity in the industry by recruiting individuals, from any background, based solely on skill and character. We encourage our members to engage their passion and develop their abilities in a positive environment, reducing the industry’s barriers to entry.
